Why Did I Name My Blog "2nd Chances In Life?"

I chose to name my blog "2nd Chances In Life" because I would like to write an encouraging blog with a twist of humor to those of us who have had a 2nd chance in love. Yes, love after DIVORCE. A 2nd marriage and all the wonders of it, the challenges of it, the pain of it and the beauty of it! My hope is to post daily and tell my story to lift up and encourage anyone who is on their journey to a 2nd chance or in their 2nd marriage. Remember, sometimes goodbye is a second chance! Oh Wow, that sounds like a song I know :-) I love that song!

My husband, Cary and I will be married 4 years in January - what do you think my chances are that I will have a weekend free of football? Ummm...like ZERO. What is it about the male brain that completely shuts off (or on) when a football game is on? It doesn't even have to be a team they know! Let's not forget the chicken wings and potato chips. You know, after the Superbowl it's like we are newlyweds! lol

I suppose we can compare his football to my facebooking or blogging. Well...not really because I am actually "doing" something with my time! I don't know...what do you think?
